Safety labels and glossary
The same short labels appear across Clyde help so users can distinguish inspection, local output, upload, and deletion before running a command.
Safety labels#
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Read-only | Inspects local state without writing or uploading. |
| Writes locally | Creates or updates configuration, bundles, or receipts on this computer. |
| Uploads repository chunks | Sends repository content to the selected NotebookLM backend only after explicit approval. |
| Deletes existing sources | Removes NotebookLM sources. This requires the nlm backend and explicit approval. |
