Command Conventions

Common Clyde command patterns for local repository scanning, Ollama prompts, NotebookLM sync, and status reporting.

Configuration

Clyde reads defaults, then the JSON config file, then environment variables such as CLYDE_CONFIG, CLYDE_OLLAMA_URL, and CLYDE_MODEL. CLI flags have the final say.

Scan Flags

--include, --exclude, --exclude-folder, --max-file-bytes, and --max-chunk-chars control repository scanning and chunking across preview, bundle, sync, and agent workflows.

Upload Approval

sync requires --approve-upload. Agent workflows refuse non-local Ollama URLs unless --allow-remote-ollama is explicit.

Safe Sync

Build a reviewed bundle, run sync --dry-run, then approve the exact bundle digest. Clyde writes a local receipt during bundle sync; use receipt status to inspect recovery guidance. Normal sync output starts immediately and repeats a simple status line while a backend operation is in progress.
