Testing and transparency
Evidence with a scope.
A useful result says what was checked, where it applies and what remains unknown.
Our verification method
We inspect semantic structure, accessible names, keyboard operation, focus, narrow layouts, text enlargement, contrast, motion and failure feedback. Automated checks support that review; they cannot establish that every person can use an interface.
The accessibility library’s recorded validation includes individual modules and combined use, 320px reflow, enlarged text, text spacing, persistence, reset, imports, authored captions, local report creation, and speech controls. Its palette matrix checks shade and contrast combinations.
Known limits
- The recorded scanner results cover tested states. Unresolved Shadow DOM aria-controls checks remain distinct from native browser dialog naming and focus checks.
- Speech depends on voices the browser reports as local. Fullscreen and clipboard support vary.
- Caption controls need real authored tracks. Image descriptions need authored text.
- The general interface studies include exploratory motion and local simulations. They need a fresh review in their production host.
- Screen reader output, touch, switch input, custom styles, real device zoom and translations need representative manual review.
This publication
Published October 29, 2026. The portal is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript. PHP examples are escaped text and downloadable .php.txt source. There is no runner, upload or visitor code execution endpoint. A directory rule denies requests for executable script files. The portal adds grouped search, reference navigation, section navigation and code documentation around curated examples. Publication checks and their exact scope are recorded with the site source. This is not a full accessibility conformance statement.
Help us find barriers
Contact Starlit with the page address, the action you attempted, what happened and your browser or assistive tool if useful. Share only details you are comfortable providing. A local report builder is also available as a learning example; it does not submit a report automatically.
